Tiny Core Linux

Tiny Core Linux is an extremely lightweight, minimalist Linux distribution known for its remarkably small size—the core system fits in under 20 MB of RAM and boots entirely into memory, providing incredible speed. It follows a unique modular architecture where the base system provides only a bare-bones kernel and essential tools, while all additional applications (including a graphical desktop if desired) are installed as separate extensions from a vast online repository. Designed primarily for advanced users, it offers the flexibility to create a highly customized system that runs entirely in RAM, making it exceptionally fast, secure, and perfect for older hardware, embedded systems, or specialized rescue and appliance use cases.
